Task 1 -Write a letter to a relative.
Dear Mother,
I hope you are doing well and are happy at home. It’s been awhile since we have communicated so I thought now would be a good time to write to you. I am doing well and am work is great, I’m trying very hard to become a successful businessman. I am currently away working and I have found a place to stay for the night; a bed and breakfast. The house is warm and comfortable, the outside is a bit rough but the inside is quite nice. The lady that owns the house has been very welcoming but is also very odd. I rang the doorbell to the house and before I could even take my finger off the bell the Landlady swung the door open. Does this seem unusual to you? She invited me inside saying that she had everything already for me. Although I thought this was odd, it was cheap and a warm place to stay. I have a nice room and she had a hot water bottle all ready in my bed for me, it’s almost like she knew I was coming. When I went downstairs to sign the book I was reading through the last people that had signed the book and weirdly there was only two names in the entire book. Christopher Mulholland and Gregory w. Temple. These names seemed very familiar to me, like I’d heard them before in a newspaper or something of that kind. Do those names ring a bell for you? In her living room she had a little bird and a dog as well, which I later on found out had been dead for a while and she had stuffed them herself. When the landlady appeared again with some tea and we talked about Christopher and Gregory and she told me that they had never left here and they were still on the third floor. I was unsure whether to believe her or not because She seemed rather loopy and quite old but this did scare me a little. Anyway I miss you lots and I will come home to visit when work settles down.
Love billy
Task 3– continuing on the story
Only me? I thought about this for a while, this landlady had only ever had three people including me stay at her bed and breakfast. Supposedly Christopher and Gregory were still here, on the third floor. I started to feel light-headed and still had a weird taste in my mouth from the tea. Then I started to feel sick, like I was going to throw up, the room started to spin and then suddenly; everything went black.
